I love that quote! I have passion for all kinds of photography. I love creating and telling stories through my lens. To me photography is all about capturing the moments - from the teardrops to the laughter. From the moments you know I'm catching, to the ones you don't. To me every photo is a unique and creative in it's own way. I love shooting my photos in interesting locations. Any where you think is a great idea, I'm open to try. I believe that your session should be a fun experience for everyone.

HELLO! My name is Nickelle Johnson and I have lived in the Roseau area for the past 29 years. Wow! Has it really been that long? I have 2 wonderful sons, Dylan and Taylor. They both graduated from RHS and Dylan is now married to his wife Bailey and they have one son, Dawson! I have been married to my husband for the past 25 years and we enjoy spending time at the lake, fishing and traveling.We have 2 more kids...our furbabies! Maki who is our crazy chocolate lab and a new addition Ceilie. She is a guide/service dog in training. We signed up to be puppy Raisers for DogsInc of Florida and will have Ceilie for the next year before we return her for her formal training to become someone’s superhero. And we also have Bridger at our home. He is a really energetic red Lab that belongs to our other son Taylor and his girlfriend Ella.

Fun fact about me...every year I take a funny photo of my dogs (and sometimes cats) for the Christmas card! It has become a tradition of sorts and now everyone wants a card for the holidays! We do also have 3 cats that keep us entertained. If you come to our house for photos you will more than likely meet Geoffrey. We call him the photobomber cat. He some how ends up in everyone's photos!

I love to do most of my sessions outdoors as I love natural light, but I do also have an indoor studio for seniors. I believe that your session should be a fun experience for everyone! The more fun we can have the more you are going to love your portraits! Pets are welcome in the photos too!

All photo sessions will take place Monday thru Friday in the evening hours in the summer. In the fall and winter I will also do photo sessions on weekends. If you have a specific date in mind book early! My calendar fills up fast for months out as I only take a limited number of clients each week.
